Touring young singers abroad safely: Henry Leck choir festivals in Ireland, Iceland & Hong Kong

Having worked with young people all my life I know of the additional responsibilities when on tour internationally with this age group.

In my capacity as Distinguished Advisor to KIconcerts I sought to ensure that our forthcoming tours for our younger singers were to places that we had confidence would avoid the concerns that parents might have. My next four festivals with KIconcerts therefore are to:

• Iceland 2018 – a land of peace and natural wonder
• Hong Kong 2019 – with Eric Stark

In many respects the furthering of international understanding through music has never been more important.
